Bergman Farms Custom Harvesting Inc. is a family owned and operated business in northeast Kansas. The family consists of Mike and Joyce, their sons, Bryce and Brent, and daughter, Cheryl. Mike started the harvest business back in 1981. He headed south with one 7720 JD combine, a Ford 2 ton straight truck and one employee. Today we run five JD-STS combines, two grain carts, six semi-trucks and numerous other support equipment and employ nearly twelve or more employees. Cheryl has graduated from KU in May'05 with an engineering degree. She still enjoys making time to come run a combine through the summer months. Bryce graduated K-State University with a degree in mechanical engineering. Brent, the youngest, is a freshman majoring in mechanical engineering at Kansas State University. Brent works all summer on harvest and helps run part of the family business. The business is based out of our farm in Baileyville, KS. We also help area farmers with planting and harvesting their crops.
